Kiltipper Woods Care Centre (KWCC) is a purpose-built care facility, situated at the foot of the Dublin Mountains in picturesque and tranquil surroundings close to the M 50 and is serviced by the Luas Red Line in Tallaght and the 54A bus route. The Care Centre is also situated close to shops, public houses, restaurants, sports grounds and many other amenities.

The Dublin Mountains Way route runs from Kiltipper Woods Care Centre through Kiltipper Park to Bohernabreena Reservoirs. The walkway has a well surfaced pathway route through to Kiltipper Park. The proximity of the walkway to the Centre offers residents/visitors to the Centre a unique opportunity to enjoy the natural beauty and atmosphere of the countryside. The onsite Kiltipper Woods Café which is open to all residents, visitors, staff and the public is also an attractive stopping point for tourists/walkers along the route.

The Centre provides a range of specialist rehabilitation/convalescence care for the Dublin acute hospitals. The Centre uses a multi-disciplinary team approach in the provision of a wide range of specialist care for the older person, the younger person with a disability and people with Dementia/Alzheimer’s.

​Kiltipper Woods has a large physiotherapy and aquatic therapy clinic which specialises in rehabilitation – wellness therapies and outpatient treatments. KWCC delivers a high standard of excellence in patient care with enhanced patient treatment that reduces recovery time for rehabilitation patients. The services and expertise of the highly skilled and friendly staff enhance quality of life and well-being of all in KWCC care.

​Overview of Facilities

The Centre is comprised of a Day Care Centre, Rehabilitation Centre and residential accommodation primarily in single en-suite rooms with a number of double en-suite rooms. There is one four-bedroom unit for high dependency nursing care.

All bedrooms, whether single or shared, have en-suite bathrooms, are spacious, tastefully decorated and fully furnished. Each room comes with television, radio, telephone and a nurse call system.

In addition to en-suite facilities, six special assisted ​bathrooms featuring up to date bathing and jacuzzi facilities are provided.
Other accommodation includes TV lounges, reading and music rooms.
