Rehabilitation and convalescence is provided for all hospitals. In circumstances following surgery or illness, when the person is ready for discharge from the hospital but not ready to return home, they can benefit from further nursing care, physiotherapy and occupational therapy in the supportive setting of Kiltipper Woods. Our multidisciplinary team approach incorporates a comprehensive rehabilitation program to assist in restoring the individual to the fullest capacity, physically, mentally and socially. Our team is focused on implementing a person-centred programme that will help the person recover strength, endurance functioning and improve the general well-being of the person before returning home. The aim of the programme is to ensure we achieve the best possible result for the patient in the shortest time.
Rehabilitation/Convalescent Care provides the care you need, when you need it, including:
